What is like to live there for a foreign single 40 male? And what is a good job market there? What are people like? From the map, it seems like a good location between Tampa and Orlando just on the Interstate.

I live in Lakeland, Florida. It is an okay place to live. There are good and bad points to it. There are areas in Lakeland to avoid, like with any other town I would imagine.

Some major companies in Lakeland are Publix Supermarkets and Geico Insurance. I don't know what field of work you are in but there are several hospitals in the area one in Lakeland.

Being between Tampa and Orlando is a plus. Both of those cities have international airports. You are near theme parks and beaches.
