I have shrunk from 5'9 1/2 " to 5'8 " and can't figure out why. My inseam was 32" but is now 29 1/2"

Have you gained weight and are wearing your pants lower? That would create the illusion that your inseam is shorter.

Of course we do shrink with age. The discs in our spine slowly lose a tiny amount of thickness . That allows us to shrink slowly but surely.

Putting on weight can change your inseam. My husband is 6'2 and I am 5'2 and our inseams are the same. My 6'4 18 year old son's inseam has changed as his weight has caught up with his growth spurt.,

You may be going through male menopause, known as Andropause. One of the many symptoms includes loss of bone.
