What the heck!
I am 29 weeks pregnant and my starting weight with this pregnancy was 164lbs (i had a baby 6 months prior) Now I weigh in at 190. I know I will hit the 200 mark before this shindig is over. But holy cow (that me what I look like)
Has anyone else had close births?
Was is harder to get the wieght off?
Are the any tricks for not putting on anymore excess weight?
I eat VERY healthy 5 small meals a day!!
My husband tells me to relax and enjoy this time. but I feel added pressure becuase he is a fitness junkie and I look like the blimp floating around the arena during the big game!

All the weight I have gained is in my butt, I'm 34 weeks, I have gained about 15-20 lbs....I started walking about two weeks ago and have noticed a huge difference in not only my body, but the way my food digests and my digestion problems that I was having have gotten better, I would try that, it has really helped me out.

I'm pregnant with my second right now. My daughter is 6 months old and I am due Nov. 2. I have had the other problem. I have been very, very ill and been losing weight.

Having children this close together is just heck on the body.

Stick it out and remember to do what's right for the baby. Even if that means more weight than you want.

Good luck!

My kids are only 11 months apart. However, I ate right and exercised and only gained 23 pounds each pregnancy. I started out at 123 and was able to get back to that weight within about 6 weeks each time. Now that I'm breastfeeding, the weight melts off even faster and I'm at 120! You don't have much longer to go. Enjoy your pregnancy and baby then worry about the weight.

I would suggest just keep eating healthy and talk to your doctor and see if s/he can recommend any light exercises you could do like taking a walk around the block everyday or doing yoga made for women who are pregnant. But remember to ask your doctor before starting anything new or strenuous. Good Luck!

i had my kids 16 months apart. with my son (1st), i gained 40 pounds, losing all of it in a flash. with my daighter, i only gained 30, but i'm stuck with 10 pounds that will not go away. lucky me, huh?
i would appreciate your husband. i know it doesn't make you skinnier, but he's trying to be supportive. after you have the baby, use his fitness energy to go on walks. push the double stroller (they weigh a ton) and keep a brisk pace. take time by yourself to exercise too.
don't stress, the weight will go...i've just promised myself not to get pregnant so soon again. it will help to not feel like i've been pregnant for 3 years straight!

You're pregnant. What else do you expect? Your body will gain weight to protect you and the baby in case there's a food shortage. Nature doesn't know we can eat whenever we want. Worry about it when this kid is born.
