Many things go into which roles an actor books. Never count on doing "specific type" movies. There are may players involved that decide which actor/actress books a role. Producers, Directors, Agents, etc. Actors have a to build a name for themselves with strong roles before they are offered roles.
Be more concerned about booking "any role," not a specific type of movie. There are many, many, many, many actors already ahead of you that have proved their worth and value in the entertainment industry.
You do not have to identify yourself as a "black" actress.

Never say never. Break the mold. Anything is possible. Opera is one of the richest and most power ladies in the US and she's black. Halle Berry, Vivica Fox, and alot more. Have confidence and stride to be the best. That's how you get to where you want.

America is free! don't worrey about your color. I have had a known people who play roles ment for the oppesite color you can do elisbeth swan if you are good!
