Yep, it usually starts with a call from work asking me if I intend to come to work this morning... then it continues when I call a cab and it takes 1/2 hour to get to my house when it usually takes 10 minutes.
On the way I realize I left my wallet at home, and have to get the cab to turn around... increasing the fare and my tardiness at work.
When I get to work, my equipment ends up not working and the guy I relieve left it that way as a special present for me. Then I find out my overtime check won't be in for another 2 weeks (after waiting 3 weeks) because of staffing shortages at pay office.
Usually at about the same moment, my daughter calls me needing to borrow a couple of hundred dollars because of a serious situation she gets herself in. It continues but you get the picture.
