Ditto to what Carson said, it will not be a problem.

Its kind of hard to make the eggs not hatch. The thing is, tetras are known as "egg scatterers" and will drop the eggs everywhere in the tank. The best way would be to catch the pregnant female in a net, and have here lay her eggs, and then flush them down the toilet. But, tetras, along with many other fish, are natural cannibals, and they will not hesitate to eat there own young. So you could just let her lay the eggs and let the parents do the rest.
Also, if they are really going to lay eggs, I don't see why you wouldn't keep them! Tetras are farely priced higher than other small fish, and you could make big bucks selling the babies to a local aquarium shop.
Also, I agree with the first answer, tetras are schooling fish, and they will not behave normal if they are not kept in a school of at least five or more. Being in too small of groups can also cause stress, which can provoke health problems, like ick.

I you don't want her to lay eggs you need to split the male from the female. But you really have nothing to worry about. Tetras are notorious for eating their eggs. If you do nothing to save the eggs then they will probably get eaten. Just let the fish do their thing. If you wanted any fry you will need to protect the eggs from the parents after they spawn.
I also have to repeat what was said above about getting more Tetras. They are schooling fish and should be kept in a group of 6 or more.

The female lays them out of choice, and the male fertilizes them.
There is no forcing to lay eggs.
You can take the eggs out and freeze them, to ensure they don't hatch.
Tetras eat the fry once they hatch, so let them hatch.

I wouldn't worry about the eggs being hatched because most of them will get eaten by the parents or other fish.

She's going to lay her eggs, but she'll probably eat them or the fry if they hatch. The filter will also claim more, so I wouldn't worry about it. Let nature run it's course.

You need to take them out with a syphon and use them as fertilizer. The only way is to seperate them so they will not mate. Good Luck
