Killing yourself is a terrible sin, but it is not an unforgiveable sin. The only unforgiveable sin is rejection of the Holy Spirit. Its called blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is when you will not listen, except, believe, etc the call of the Holy Spirit. If you reject Him when He calls for you to believe in Jesus then you have sinned the unforgiveable sin.

yes it is. my cousin did that and succeeded. There are so many reasons why it is unforgivable. One of them is the fact that is completely selfish and thoughtless towards the people that you will be leaving behind. Also, your life will be left incomplete, and all the dreams that you and your family has had will no longer exist. A person that I had known told me that she wanted to die, just so that she wouldn't go to Montana. That hurt me a lot. Whether the reason is big or small for wanting to die, don't try it. Please don't try it. Killing yourself will not solve anything-trust me. If anything it will make things worse.

If you're not suffering from a painful desease for which there is no cure, or didn't lose your children then yes, I think it is the unforgiveable sin of selfishness to even consider. And vain too.

Suicide is a result of mental impairment or disorder, and as such cannot be deemed to be a sin. There was a time when suicide was consider a sin by religious scholars, however wiser heads have prevailed. I could make a reasoned argument that Jesus committed suicide. He knew what would happen, and did it anyway. We need to get out of the dark ages and see the light.

Yes, murder is a sin, but not unforgivable.

The bible says that the only way to heaven is throughout Jesus, not getting forgiveness for your sins.

Christians have been taught that your can't go to heaven with sin in your life, bu the word of God says that "we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

This gave me great freedom, because we are all sinner, even us Christians, but we believe Jesus is our Lord and Savior, try not to sin, try to honor Him, and just do the best we can.

Why are you asking this question?? Is it that you are crying out for help?? Do you need a friend?? Get some counseling, or call a family member immediately. Self sacrifice to save another is the ultimate gift to give someone. Suicide is the cowards way out.
