That's why you shouldn't take hours to cook a wonderful home cooked meal. you should see the slop I cook no one eats it and no complains when my partner cooks because they no the alternative is way worse. Either she cooks or they starve.
I use to be like that open and shovel but then my partner civilised me and now I'm learning to chew my food and eat with a knife and fork.
It could be seen as the ultimate compliment, its beats them not eating just poking and prodding the food or saying I don't like this.
