"under George Bush".
He must have been born in the last decade.
We do it where the underarmed are being attacked by the over-armed and it is in our interests.
The Middle East isn't simply an Israel vs. everyone else situation, but is as complex as Europe (more so in my opinion, as well as older).
What gave the public the idea we were solely on the side of Israel? How silly. What short memories people have.
Wouldn't it be nice if our only motivation was money. Simplistic ideas of foreign policy are one reason those who have been in government don't have a great opinion of the intelligence of the general public. I can't blame them.

I believe you'll find that no Arab country the US is supplying has engaged in war with Israel while ( or after ) the US supplied them.
