im asking because i had sex on the 18 which was one of my fertile days we did the missionary position instead of me using the pillow method i layed down and proped my legs up afterwards is that a high chance that i could get pregnant like that and i can be im still waiting on my period to come on its suppose to come on round the 2nd or 3rd should i test tomorrow or wait until after that

Some obgyns will tell you that propping up your legs will help you get pregnant. I have never personally done it and I have gotten pregnant twice on birth control and once was planned. I have two little girls and i'm currently pregnant with a baby boy! :-) Good Luck and I wish you the best. I would wait to take a test until you miss your period.

You do not have to use pillows; that is, in fact, an old wives tale. Some methods, i.e. - the shettles method call for the missionary position (in this case - to have a girl) while trying to get pregnant.

Sounds to me like you have a few tough decisions to make. My first question is...do you love him? If you love him, then my suggestion is marriage counseling/couples therapy. You need to get to the bottom of why this is happening and what you BOTH can do differently. He may not think there's anything wrong here even if you've told him there is. Sex is a huge part of a relationship. If you are missing something, then this needs to be addressed before an infidelity occurs. Of course if you cant honestly answer yes to my question, then you owe it to both of you to move on. You both deserve to be happy.

Wait it takes more time than that sometimes to tell. Be patient and do go out and buy a lot of over the counter pregnancy tests, Thats expensive and not always right. Wait at least a month if your late then go to the Health Dept. or Doctor for a blood test. If you get over anxious you will set yourself up for a lot of disappointments if your not.

I never propped myself up, and I got pregnant the first time in less than a month. The last time was an accident, we were probably doing it doggy-style at the time.

wait until you actually miss your period to test.
I don't really think propping a pillow helps any. The sperm will travel because they are really persistant. I think all that is just old wives tales.

The pillow theory is not a must do, but i think it doesnt hurt to do it! Because its one more thing that you can do just to make sure you do get pregnant! But im sure it is not essential!!

proping ur legs does works, it helps the sperm when gravity is on their side

i guess it helps for lazy sperm but i tell you i never used one andd didn't plan on getting pregnant but i did. but my little man was worth everything
