I'm talking about the money that is being spent. Currently we are spending about 1 dollar for every 75 cents we are taking in. The biggest item that is not planned in the budget we are spending on is the war.
Thus the war is not being paid for by the current generation.
Please, read up on the subject before you try to claim that the US isn't trillions of dollars in debt.

Everything you stated is flat out false.
The war efforts are here to protect us from Al Qaeda
There is no future debt.

Few wars have ever been financed in real time, and public debt is a matter of total spending, not individual programs. For instance, we could eliminate the deficit, even with the war, if we eliminated entitlement programs.
One alternative that might be a good idea is 'war bonds.' Though it's still a matter of borrowing, someone has to buy them. If you set the interest rate even a little below the norm, there will be no economic reason to buy them - only those who support the war would do so, and if you couldn't sell enough of them, no war.

The republicans are lining their pockets from the war. They don't want to spend their ill gotten gains paying for it, they want the poor and the middle class to foot the bill.
You must have heard their slogan: "freedom isn't free". We are paying so that the republicans can free the taxpayers dollar from the US treasury.

Wars are financed through the selling of bonds. Nothing new about this. In WWII Americans bought bonds which helped finance the war. Now, countries like China are indirectly financing the war.
The US was owed billions after WWII and canceled most of the debt owed, with just the stroke of a pen.

Because they will have to raise taxes in order pay for the war. It's much better to wait and leave it to the next guy.

The Republicans sacrifice all of the time. Without us, you folks couldn't have the programs that are so 'needed'. Just remember who foots the bills. :)
