I'd recommend a 5 gallon tank (minimum) with a filter and a heater. They can survive in bowls but they like room to move and are healthier with the filter and heater. Just make sure the flow of the filter is not too high. Make sure you condition the water (I use Prime) before adding it to the tank. Weekly water changes of about 25% will keep your fish healthy. Feed about 3 of the little betta bites per day (doesn't seem like much but it's plenty).

a million) There are a few tips you'll be able to, like swimming via hoops, leaping of meals, flaring on command, or effectively swimming over when you faucet the glass. two) five gallons, heater, filter out with silk vegetation and different tender decorations. Get a nice 5g tank with light, filter and heater. Some nice gravel or sand, normal natural colors are best. I prefer black sand myself, highlights the betta nicely.

Add broad leafed plants either real or fabric and a cave to hide in.

Feed them 2x a day with Hikari Betta Bio-gold Pellets, 2-3 pellets a serving. Supplement with freeze dried bloodworms.

Change 20% of the water weekly.

Enjoy your betta :)

I've had a Beta fish

*Put 1 fish per fish tank

*Beta fish food (search on google/yahoo or go to Petco)

*Try to put the min. amount of stuff in the tank (it doesn't matter how much the tank is beautiful, it matters if your Beta fish is beautiful).

*Clean the water often

GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR BEAUTIFUL BETA FISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
