It was a long time coming too. I'm a Mets fan living in the Bay Area, so I knew exactly what the Giants were getting when they signed the waste of space. And for how much they paid him, man it couldn't have happened soon enough. Dumping him in Florida and getting ANYBODY in return is worth having to still pay the major chunk of the remainder of his contract.

Hopefully, Hennessey can do better... (not like he could do worse!)

The guy had 9 saves in 11 save opportunities. An 82% save rate isn't that bad. It's certainly better than the rest of San Francisco's relievers who've combined for 2 saves in 6 opportunities. Before his last two outtings, he had a 2.87 ERA. I think the Giants panicked and will regret this move by the end of the season.

particular! looking at an previous "Twilight Zone" of a guy going back to 1927 I felt happy seeing the Roaring '20's and listening to the music and looking out on the happy human beings, yet cried thinking of how unhappy it replaced into 1929 will come and harm each and every thing relaxing from then.

I am not a Giants fan, nor am I "anti-Giants". So I guess I don't really care one way or the other.

Yes.............. just wish he went to Atanta so the Mets could get a few more Ws.
But with Florida, they are now good for a few late inning wins.

Yes, he was horribly unreliable. Even in his saves, he would allow a run or two before closing it up.
