It would be a great day. The city of Cleveland has waited soooo long for a winner, that you could hear a sigh of relief half way around the world. After things like "The Drive", and "the shot", I would love nothing more than to see Travis Hafner "drive" one over the right field wall, and Peralta to hit a "shot" in the left center gap to score that winning run.

Being an Indians fan since my first game in 1979...I honestly can't answer that. I'm not sure. I know when the Buckeyes won the title in football I partied all weekend and spent a weeks pay on Championship merchandise. However Boston fans reacted a few years ago when their time finally came will be similar to me if it happens. This team is all around stronger then any Tribe team I have ever seen. But I bet right now the road goes through Boston. But Boston's road will go through Cleveland. Boston's 1-3 pitchers vs Clevelands 1-3 pitchers--and those great hitters on both teams...it could be one of the best playoff series in years. A great team will be going home. WE ARE DUE IN CLEVELAND. NO CITY IN SPORTS UNDERSTANDS HOW BAD THIS SUCKS. NO CITY. If YOUR city doesn't win titles in MLB-you have won in the NBA or NFL-we get none of that. The Marlins have 2 titles--baseball Gods THROW US ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd be happy because they haven't won one since 1948, despite having all those great teams from 1995 to 2001 (the Indians never won fewer than 86 games over that span). As long as the pitching stays as solid as it has been, Cleveland has as good a shot as anybody, especially with that offense of theirs.

Being from the Cleveland area i could use the phrase "If i had a nickel for every time i heard that...". I don't kniow what I would do, minus jumping up and down and flailing wildly. I would hope I am with family or friends to share in the ultimate feeling of sports. GO CAVS AND TRIBE!!!!! BEAT DETROIT (in both sports)!!!!!!!!!

I would sit back, look up at the sky and say to myself, " why am I thinking about the Indians winning the World Series, I'm a Red Sox fan".

Personally, I would love it. I'm not really an Indians fan, but if they won, it would mean the Yankees were watching from home.

I'd be stoked that the Red Sox didn't win. And, to be honest, I think that the Indians have a shot at it. I wouldn't be surprised if they win the AL pennant. They aren't my favorite team, but I'm rootin' for 'em.
