Are you both virgins? If not, your boyfriend needs to be very gentle with you, it doesn't hurt a great deal. Sometimes it doesn't hurt @ all because your hymen could have been torn already using tampons or vigorous exercising. If you're scared, you should wait until you feel your ready. :)

It didn't hurt the first time... but sometimes it hurts now. The key thing about that is: don't expect too much! Once I had it, I really wondered what all the fuss was about... it is NOT the greatest thing ever. But it varies, a little like sport performance, sometimes you have a great game, and sometimes you wonder what you were doing there!
Now over time, you guys will get more comfortable, and discover how to get more pleasure and more intimacy out of it. The only trouble is with guys though, is that when you start, it kinda gets to be the center of your relationship. Make sure you stay in a comfortable zone where you guys keep doing other stuff that brings you together, and remind him that for you, it's as emotional as physical.
Have fun!

If you are afraid you are not ready. It is not silly to be scared. Go to the library and study about sex. Start with the book Our Bodies, Ourselves: A book by and for women. Other books are What Your Mother Never Told You About Sex, The Joy of Sex, and Unwrapped: Real Questions Asked By Real Girls (About Sex). Some websites would be sexetc.org and sexuality.org
Don't do it until you're not scared anymore.

way to go! i would suggest waiting until you are married, it would be sooo much more special**! dont worry about the hurt, it should just feel uncomfortable for a moment and i never experienced any blood, or use some lubricant, and you'll like it after the initial 'entrance'
if you wait until you are very sexually aroused before the 'entrance' it wouldn't hurt but perhaps feel good!
just dont worry, and be excited, most of the pain is in your head anyway, tell yourself you will like it and it will be better, be excited and happy that you've waited so long! lucky girl!

It will hurt the first time for a bit. Yes, there will be blood. But do it because you love him not because marriage ins emminent. After the first time, it gets better. The key for women is arousal. If they just go for it, it hurts like hell. If he is not gentle with you at least at first, dump him. No one wants a selfish, insensitive man. Use birth control for yourself don't rely on him. Make sure he is tested too. Good luck.

It is not stupid to worry about that, and other things associated with sex for the first time. I will say however, that sex is hyped up, and really, once you have it, will realize that the physical act is not that big of a deal. It is the symbolism of the act that can really be hurtful if not done under the right circumstances.

Once you start you'll wonder why you waited so long. Your hymen may already be broke and if it is it probably won't hurt at all. Get a mirror and a flashlight and look and see if it's still there. If it is, I've heard it described as being similar to being pinched really quick.

Just a little discomfort and the bleeding is not that bad...
Its always best to wait until you are married. You dont want to ruin your chance of dropping out of college because you "accidentely" are pregnant

It may not hurt at all or it may hurt a little. Just relax and make sure he takes his time. Lubrication can make it feel better. Most important, use protection.
