Do you prefer pads or tampons (or anything else) for your "monthly time"?

I switched to pads, they just work better for me. I'm thinking of buying the ones you can wash and re-use, makes sense to me!

I'm sorry a few of you find a normal body function . . . gross.

I have never used tampons.
Pads have always been my preference, but now I don't always get periods (have Mirena IUD) but when I do, they are so very light that a pantyliner works just fine.
I hadn't realized that some people weren't aware that cloth diapers actually DO exist? LOL
I wasn't aware that they now also make reusable pads.
Sounds like a great idea to me.

I prefer pads even though I tried tampons for a time from after 18 years old til about 5 years ago or so. I stopped using tampons because of a medical condition unrelated to the tampon itself.

I actually have never used tampons (I'm 23). I just would feel kinda weird putting one in and wearing it. I don't normally have a heavy period so for the most part pads work well for me. I have actually never heard of washable pads....how does that work when you're in the bathroom and you need to switch? Interesting...

I like pads too. Especially at night, it's so much easier because with tampons you have to change them every 3 hours. I am a forget full person when it comes to little things like that, so the pad works for me.

Pads for me. After hearing about Toxic Shock Syndrome over 30 years old (yes, I am old), I stop using tampons.

I started out with tampons & went to pads. I think it is more sanitary for your vagina not having old blood remain in your body. I think, it's an excellent idea going to a recyclable pads.

Pads... cz I have a lot of bleeding.
But the re-usable ones are kinda gross... I wouldn't touch it, let alone wash it.

i prefer tampons, pads are just big and sweaty and seem unsanitary because its outside and exposed to more than a tampon.
