HELP!! I just bought a really cute dress but it's also a mini..the material on the dress says it is 98% Polyester and 2% Spandex. It's like a satiny material and everytime I walk the dress clings to my skin and it looks horrible!! I dont want to have to return it but is there anything I can do to make it not cling to my skin!! I've heard of static guard but I've also heard that the satiny materials are the materials that it doesn't work on. Anyone know anything please help!!!

use the little static sheetsyou use for the dryer and rub it all over your dress. i know a woman who uses it in her hair and she says it works.

I agree with Dearylou. I'm sold on Static Guard. It doesn't take much and works very well. I give my clothes a very light spray before I put them on and don't make sparks or get zapped everytime I touch anything metal anymore.

When I get a lot of static cling I wipe the clothes with one of those anti-cling cloths that you put in the dryer with your clothes. Or you can get a slip to put underneath the dress and cut it to whatever length you need to.

Take a shower and rub lotion on before you put the dress on, also keep some dryer sheets handy. Hairspray also works if you are wearing pantyhose and you spray where the dress and pantyhose rub. Wear a slip.
