Open and honest communication and trust are important.
Just remember this: nobody stays beautiful forever. When you are elderly and the physical attraction isn't what it used to be, there needs to be something else to pull it together.

I'll rephrase the question into a statement - Foreplay is an important aspect in maintaining a sexual relationship.
As others have written trust is probably the most important aspect in a relationship.
But maintaining a sexual relationship (with a satisfied woman) involves foreplay and that involves loving healthy communication during the day to sustain a connection.
Are we talking about just sex or great sex and a great relationship. Whoever wrote that blurb was making a point for the wam bam thank you mamers who don't know any different I think. Maintaining a great relationship involves effort is the point.

I read the article, a little much isn't it . Let me tell you I have been with the same man for 16 years he is 4 years older than I and it isn't really the foreplay that gets me int he mood it is a feeling of comfort. and FYI after being together for so long we find role playing is really fun. Don't take sex to seriously I think that is what is wrong with most couples . Buy some new toys for the bedroom etc. If she is to shy to do to a store with you the web is full of mail order sites. Exploring I feel is more important.

In my opinion, I'd think that foreplay would only have a little part of it (including sex). But the most important aspect of a relationship can be many other things; trust etc.

Foreplay may be the most important aspect in your sexual relationship but communication is vital. Without good communication you usually can't get to foreplay in a long term relationship.

i've got on no account had a boyfriend before, yet i've got had a male appropriate pal who I continuously fought with. We continually made up nevertheless. for my section, a relationship isn't finished without the occasional combat. do no longer flow thus far as to make him decide directly to provide up chatting with you nevertheless. If that does take place, provide him some days to quiet down. in case you 2 take place see one yet another throughout that element, be superb. i do no longer propose flow as much as him and act as though no longer something is misguided; basically provide a small smile or something like that. as long because of the fact the scuffling with is balanced out--which ability no longer too numerous it--then i think of your relationship is risk-free. do you recognize what motives those fights? basically attempt to stay away from them as much as conceivable. in case you 2 basically combat approximately little issues, i would not worry approximately it. you are able to basically snort with him approximately it interior the top. this is stable which you 2 continually make up. stable good fortune on your relationship! c:

i think the article means that just enjoying being with the girl and complimenting her and hugging her and making her feel safe is the most important aspect of a relationship. a lot of girls HATE when guys think that sex is the most important part because its totally not true.

I would say it is important in most healthy relationships but not the most important thing, that would be trust and love.
