The Democrats want to withdraw on President George W. Bush's watch. So when they're kissy-face tactic backfires? They'll have something else to blame on him. But the locals are speaking up! And getting results. Just like we will in November of `08. Let's be there. So I can shake your hand. And I'd be honored to say "Thank you, dear Sir!"

Of course, if the Iraqis are finally taking up the fight, themselves, we can finally leave, right?
Conversely, if the Sunnis were battling on the side of Al Qaeda, that would be an indication that Iraqis didn't want us there, and that we really should leave.
OTOH, if the Sunnis were doing nothing with respect to Al Qaeda, that would be clear evidence that they were just letting us do the fighting for them, and rather than be used like that, we should leave.

Well, one could argue that the Sunnis are stepping up to the plate, realizing that American troops might withdraw. Also, Al Qaeda would not be in Iraq were it not for the destabilizing presence of Halliburton Private Security... I mean, American military personnel.

I would say they want to withdraw even more since it seems the Sunnis also dislike Al Qaeda and will take care of our problem for us.

This is proof that there is progress in Iraq. Sadly though I do not see the libs and Dem's starting to support out efforts any time soon.

How about this. Now that the Sunnis are battling al_qaeda, will George Bush do his reserve duty?

I doubt that that changes the Democrats' feelings. Indeed, this is further proof of a civil war. Please note that Al-Qaida is a Sunni organization, so now we have a minority divided against itself. Again, I think it provides further evidence that a civil war is in progress.

Liberals are so vested in our defeat that this is the only solution. Their only idea to deal with terrorists is leave Iraq.
They will pay for this someday.
