It seems now a days every singer out there is singing in Spanish--even if they are not hispanich/latin--just to appeal to the Spanish speaking demographic. I just heard a Beyonce (please don't ask me where and why) song and she was even singing in Spanish. I mean WTF? I've got nothing against Spanish since I'm hispanic myself but the only reason I think they are doing it is to appeal to a broader audience and gain more popularity.

Latin America is a big market. It makes up a large part of the western hemisphere. If they were to sing in Spanish they would have that much more money in their pocket from latin americans buying their albums. Well, maybe not the artist, but the record companies would.
Oh, and you don't have to watch anything you don't want to watch.
