I am dark skin and have gold undertones in my skin. I have black hair. I've been told silver looks good on me. But I want to be sure. Also, what color of clothing should I wear?

Ooh guys you all have good answers. LOL, even though they conflict with eachother. This will be tough.

Silver jewelry would look best.

Choose bold, vivid primary colors in clothing. Consider black, true white, blue reds, royal blues, fuchsia, lemon yellow, hot pink and blue greens.
Also choose icy or cool-toned pastels, which will bring out your features.
Avoid clothes in shades of soft yellow, rose, mauves and soft pastels, as they will make you appear drawn out.

Well, if you have gold undertones, gold jewelry would definitely pull the pretty gold undertones of your skin out. Color wise, sometimes darker skin tones look good in bold, bright colors-bright yellows, and greens, oranges, purples. It just depends on your preference and what you feel comfortable in.

Brushed gold is probably better than silver for you, unless it's silver with pearls. Colors that would look best probably include reds (deep burgandy), violets (reddish purples), olives, burnt umber and other earthy colors, black and white. I would avoid pink altogether unless it is a really hot fuschia. Dark browns and light beiges will probably not work well either. Avoid pastels, except possibly greens, as they will make you look washed out.

Silver works great on dark skin because it really pops out. And so does white. Also, gold works because it will match with your undertones, unless it is alot. So try and experiment alot of clothes.

But just avoid dark colors which will not flatter ur skintone because your already dark skined.

hope i helped. :)

Canary Yellow will bring out the color of your skin as long as it's darker. I think darker women are so lucky to wear that color and look so good. I think only dark skin can pull it off.

Bright colors will make your skin shine and show itself off. You don't need deep colors, because those will make you look dull.

Hope I helped :D

If you are wearing warm colors, like reds, browns, yellows,
oranges, etc. then wear gold jewelry. When wearing cool
colors, like blue, green or black, wear silver jewelry.
