If you don't have a dryer that's big enough, go to the laundromat. Put it in the dryer with a damp or slightly more moist hand or face towel and one or two sneakers. Dry on a low heat, if the bedspread is not usually supposed to be dried. The moisture will relax the wrinkles, and the sneakers will knock the stuffing back out of lumps.

You'll have to ask the people who messed it up at the cleaners. Either they should fix the problems they caused with it or pay to replace it.
If they say it's not their fault, did they advise you that this might be the result of the cleaning? I doubt it. Stick to your guns. They owe you an new bedspread.

If it was cheap, consider this a great opportunity to get yourself something new and nice.
But if you want to try fixing it first, throw it in one of those big dryers at the laundromat with an old sneaker. It sounds crazy, but the sneaker will re-fluff any old comforter.

I remember my sister had one of those poofy coats that were really big a few years ago..my mother washed it and the stuffing got all messed up. See was told to dry it with some tennis balls and that would keep the stuffing from balling up. I have never tried this myself but thought i might suggest it anyway.

Try taking it to a coin laundry. Put it in one of those big commercial dryers. Let it tumble for 15 minutes, with no heat, just air. If that does not work, use it the way it is.

Yeah I would suggest taking it to the laundry mat and putting in on fluff and see if that helps. If not then I suggest you buy another. This happened to some of my cheaper bedspreads.

I never use most dry cleaners for this very reason - they mess up everything and then pretend that it's not messed up. It will probably never be the same if it's polyester filled. It may be best to launder your next one in woolite.

If it bothers you, replace it - it will not likely ever look new again.
