College is a good thing for acting....lots to learn, Shakespeare, speaking properly, music, good memory, experience many different things, lots of things are needed to be an accomplished actor. Start out with school plays. Most models are tall, but it has been changing since they started doing plus sizes. Acting is not an easy life, you have to work very hard and more than one job to make a living. If you are very very good you might be lucky if the right job comes along.

You don't have to go to college, but an education is good for any career. Acting is never a guarantee and even big celebrities go for months and years without a movie or tv show.
It's also wise to take acting classes, etc. now, you don't wait until college to start your education.
These days you need to be 5' 9" to be a model.
Acting can be hard, it just depends on you and how you handle stress.
As for succeeding in achieving your dream, keep at it. If it's what you really want, it will never fade from view. Work hard at everything. You can't let everything else in your life slip because you want to be an actor. Child actor's in-particular have to be very smart. They have to get approval from their school before they can obtain an entertainment work permit. They have to be good students and must be able to work independently.
Get into every school & community theatre production you can. If you do well at that and your parents are supportive, perhaps you can get an agent and go for tv, film or modeling work.
Good luck!

Haven't you seen little kids on TV. You don't have to go to college to become an actress. If your over 18 it might be good to go or have already gone to college. Well, the biz always is looking for a type, but you know it could be you. Acting could be hard if your not naturally bood at it. It take s alot of practice and if your at auditions, you have to be quick on your feet. That means that they could ask you anything at any time. One tip is this biz is VERY dissapointing, just don't give up. If you do want to stop because you think it isn't right for you do so, it is all about you and FOLLOWING YOUR DREAMS! Well, good luck!

I dont know much about acting. But on the modeling tip, I know they at least want you to be 5'9 in height, small figure, and a great personality. Be careful for modeling casting calls that ask you for money because theyr'e rip-offs. Its ok to go and take a few modeling classes if you want, and also go and get some really good pictures done and start your modeling portfolio and you can also use that same portflio for acting auditions too. Keep yourself in great shape and eat healthy. Keep your head up and stand tall at all auditions. And if you choose not to take classes, get someone who has a great walk to help you practice, practice, practice. This advice Im giving you can take you a long ways. So good luck in whatever decision you choose and make sure you always take an adult with you to any auditions or classes.

You do not have to go to college to become a model, but it helps.
If you want to be a model on the run way you have to be tall. Starting at 5'6 or 5'7.
Acting isnt all that hard. It is actually really fun if you truly enjoy it.
You should try out for some commercials and such to get noticed. You also are going to want an Acting Coach.
Good luck with persuing your dream!! <333

Let me tell you a story about a young Christian actress I met about a year ago. She was hired by a theatre company for a full season consisting of several plays spread out over many months. Then she found out that in one of the plays her character said some lines that involved taking the Lord's name in vain. She told the director that she couldn't say those lines. The company considered firing her, but decided instead to let her take an unpaid leave of absence during that play. (The actress they hired to replace her was also a Christian, but had different views about what constituted sinful conduct on stage.) You have to decide for yourself what is morally right for you. And you have to be ready to accept that you might lose some acting jobs because of the moral code you choose to live by. But you should know that it is possible to find acting jobs that you will not consider sinful. Do a web search on "Christian theatre" to get some idea of the options that are available.

Acting is extremely hard. It's a good idea to go to college and study acting.
If you want to know if you can model, look at the magazines in the stores. If you look exactly like the models in the magazines, you can probably model.

Please go do some research. It will answer a lot of your questions better then anyone here could. It's really annoying to the professionals here when you pop up with questions you could answer yourself by doing some research or reading some books on acting, which is a good way to start being an actor. Read plays and books and all your questions will answer themselves.
