If her incision is bleeding she needs to see a doctor NOW.
I don't mean to panic you, but it could mean any sort of thing.

tell your boss that you have an emergency and get off work. Or have someone else come get her. The wound can get infected and she could get really sick if it is not treated. My sister had an infection from her incision being torn. She actually had to stay in the hospital for a week until they let her go home. She needs to get help immediately. I think she will be fine, but this is nothing to play with. If she cant find a ride, have her call an ambulance or go get her! Where is the baby's father?

I had a c-section in February. I was told not to do much the first 6 weeks. I wasn't supposed to drive and limit my exercise to walking (also to help with swelling in my feet). I didn't feel better until about 4 weeks. I kept feeling like if I moved a certain way something inside was tearing or stretching. Then again they did cut through muscles and nerves, it was very difficult to distinguish what I was feeling. Mine bled (very minimal) in one spot (I always felt that there was a hole in the incision).
I would have her call the doctor. Mine was a spot of blood not a continuous bleed.
4 months later I move around fine. I get strange sensations in my abdomen as if I'm being poked with needles. I think it is from getting the feeling back in my nerves.

i had a c-section 6 months ago, they docs said a little drainage from the incision is okay, and it healed within 3 days. but if she had it last friday and it hasn't healed up yet, then something is probably wrong. i would suggest giving her a ride as soon as possible. it might not be a big deal, but theres always risk of infection.
as far as moving around: it took me about a week for the pain to start going away. after that walking around wasn't so bad.

She needs to go to the ER. I had a C-Section on May 11th, and on the 17th, I went to see my OB to have my staples removed. When they took out one staple, I started to gush fluid out of my abdomen. The OB then decided to take out the rest of the staples, now I need to be seen at Wound Care/Plastic Surgery 1x a week because my incision hadn't closed up where she took out the staples. I was admitted to the hospital immediately. Now my poor husband has to pack and change the dressings 2x a day. I know with a 1 year old at home wouldn't be easy on her, I have a 6 year old and that is not easy either. But she does need to try to take it easy, not lift anything heavier than her little baby.

i had a csection and had staples...when those came out a couple days later i had a hole..about the size of a pencil in my incision. i went to see the doctor and she said its fine, just put some neosporin and a bandaid over it! she had a word for what that is called when it happens but she said it was no big deal! tell her to call her nurse or talk to her doctor but im sure she's fine. it was sensitve there for about 2-3 weeks after for me..and is still kinda numb after 5 months from all the damn tugging and everything. as long as theirs no puss or any sign of infection she should be fine!

How bad is the bleeding? I think no matter what she needs to see a doctor tommrow, only if the blood flow isent to heavy tonight. They do take a while to heal. Mine took nearly three weeks and its very sore and fragile. Ask her tp call the local hospital so they can advise her. Good luck.

After a week...she SHOULD NOT be bleeding from the incision site.
She probably just over did it. They tell you not to carry anything heavier than your baby for the first few weeks after a C Section and to avoid stairs and over exsertion.
She probably isn't "Dying"...but she would probably be intelligent to go get checked out and to call her OB at the very very least.

Bleeding is a complication of a C-section. That means, it's an emergency, just tell your manager what's going on they will let you go for the day.
We all heal differently, my c-section took 51/2 weeks to completely heal to where it wasn't hurting me. But it may take much longer for her since she's having complications.

She's not dying but she may have over done it....lifted too much or something. I would take her to the docs, If it's bleeding profusely then she should call 911...but just a little, then I wouldn't worry too much. But I would still take her to the doctors. She may have torn it and may ned more stitches or staples

I've had three C-sections and I've never had bleeding at the incision site. She should see a doctor soon.
