This is a problem in the impreciseness of our language and how we communicate. For each of the artists who responded, I am sure that what they mean is a particular type of music. I don't suspect they would equally think it would rock to perform Country and Wester or classical music on stages. Or if they do, then it probably isn't house or rap.

MUSIC! Music is my life. Without music I would have no rock band, which totally rocks my world. I mean c'mon proforming on stage is the coolest! My friends rock my world too. I would be so lost without them. ;)
