The baby lies in the womb, not the stomach. The baby can die for many many reasons - lack of blood supply, in turn lack of oxygen, chemical imbalance, genetic reasons and so forth. Sometimes if the baby is not developing / has no chance of survival outside the womb due to lack of development, then the body can 'reject' it. This is is a natural miscarraige. I hope this helps answer your question. IM me if you want to know more.

Miscarriages can occur for many reasons, not all of which can be identified.
Chromosomal abnormalities are found in more than half of embryos miscarried in the first 13 weeks. A pregnancy with a genetic problem has a 95% chance of ending in miscarriage. Most chromosomal problems happen by chance, have nothing to do with the parents, and are unlikely to recur.
Another cause of early miscarriage may be progesterone deficiency.
Pregnancies involving more than one fetus are at increased risk of miscarriage.
Uncontrolled diabetes greatly increases the risk of miscarriage.
Cigarette smokers have an increased risk of miscarriage.
Cocaine use increases miscarriage rates.
Physical trauma, exposure to certain chemicals, obesity, high caffeine intake, high levels of alcohol consumption, and use of NSAIDs have also been linked to increased risk of miscarriage.

It can be any number of reasons. My twin died a couple of days before birth because of hydrocephalitus. Some children get the cord wrapped around their throats and choke to death. Children who's mothers have had previous abortions are at a much higher risk of dying in the womb for any number of reasons. If the mother didn't care for herself and her baby during pregnancy, that could be another reason.

First of all, it's not your stomach, it's your uterus. Second of all, there can be many things wrong with the baby. Maybe even the mother. If the mother of the fetus has taken drugs, drank alcoholic, been addicted to nicotine, starving herself etc, she could have affected the baby. Whatever a pregnant mother does, affects her baby. Always.

A lot of things happen...there is a health issue...I had a friend that the baby crushed to cord with its elbow. There are plenty of things that can go wrong.

You want advice on how to kill a baby?
Well the only way for a baby to get in your stomach would be for you to eat it....so I would think if it wasn't dead already, then your stomach acid would probably get the job done.
