It depends on the test...the adverage is about 14 days past ovulation or the day you're to start your period but there's also tests that check 4 to 5 days before your period...Just a warning they don't always work that way because each person is different...I took a First Responce and it didn't show me as being pregnant until I was 12 late for my period...and sometimes (not to scare you or make you worry more but...) a home pregnancy test won't show when you're pregnant...My mother couldn't tell from a home pregnancy test until she was 6 months pregnant...it's best if you're cycle is late by two weeks or so and you're still not getting a positive then go to your care provider and get blood work done to find out

Usually the fertilized egg takes up to seven days to implant, and the body doesn't start producing HCG (the hormone detected by the pregnancy test) until the egg actually implants, and then the amount increases every day.
The earliest I've ever heard a positive test was ten days, but that's early. I would wait 12- 14 days and use a test that measures with the 25 mcg.

I've been doing a number of learning on this internet site known as Two Week Wait....It talks concerning the two weeks between ovulation and the menstrual cycle that girls must wait to peer if they're pregnant. On the website online, women are competent to post their signs day-to-day post-ovulation, up unless they'd a constructive pregnancy scan. 75% of the experiences that I study recounted that that that they had a positive being pregnant experiment on the 10th or 11th day post-ovulation. So, certain, it's fairly viable to find out now if you are or not. Use an early response experiment that has additional sensitivity to become aware of for definite (like ept's First Response.) And good success!

Wait until your period is late. Any earlier and you could risk testing positive for a pregnancy that might not end up taking. That's why I hate the early tests - more and more women are taking test so darn early that they find out they're pregnant only to have a miscarriage. If women didn't test so early and this ended up happening then there wouldn't be as many women going through the anguish of a miscarriage they wouldn't have known about otherwise. Not trying to scare you here, just giving you a reason to wait to test. Best of luck!

Your nearly there! Everyone is different, it all depends as to how long it takes the fertilised egg (if indeed it was fertilised!) to implant, and then after that you need to wait a couple of days for the hCG hormone to get into your urine which doubles approx every 48 hours, so i would probably wait til at least 12dpo or to the day your period is due. If negative still wait a couple of days and test again! Good Luck and baby dust to you!!

It all depends on when it implants. You don't start producing the hormone until after that. So, it could be different with every person. Just so you don't waste you money, i'd just wait until you've missed your period. Good luck!
