my friend says there are swollen glands towards the back of her tounge.what the hell is that?

she said that she ate some cup a noodles and went to sleep and woke up and they felt like little bumps but they're the glands on her toung that are swollen and red. she said it feels as if they were burnt from hot food or sum ****. what is it.

Strep infection. Infected tonsils.

could be her tonsils messed up. or strep throat, or thyroids. i would call a dr, and and let him check.

Tonsils.She may have burned them or maybe she has tonsillitis.
