Osama bin Laden is merely the new face of Emanuel Goldstein, the supposed leader of the Brotherhood in Orwell's 1984. Bush and Co are doing everything they can to make this dystopian future a reality. Every American should read or reread this prescient novel and wake up to this ugly reality that is reaching fruition. Big Brother is watching all of us, every minute of every day.

"do you have a URL that says how much has been spent in the hunt for the man? if not, shut your pie hole "
Well, this will help clue you in...The last time Bush asked for money for Afghanistan, it was $8 billion. How much did he ask for in regard to Iraq most recently? About $70 billion.
If you don't think the cost of Iraq eclipses the cost of Afghanistan and the hunt for Osama (put together), you are painfully naive.

osama isn't worth the price of a bullet. The price should be on the head of the likes of Cheney,Powell and Dagwood Bumstead(a.k.a. Donald Rumsfeld) for advising moronic George to mobilize forces against the peaceful poppy-growing ragheads of Iraq and Afghanistan.

They are still looking for bin Laden so part of the defense money goes toward that. I guess it's pretty hard to locate a billionaire terrorist with thousands of followers including some right here in the USA. I hope this helps answer some of your questions.

Well, if they don't catch Osama and another 9/11 happens, we can say he is affiliated with Iran and switch to saying Iran has WMDs then attack just like what we did to Iraq.
