Are you sure its the door chime? I know that Fords will chime if you dont connect your seat belt. If you are wearing a seat belt and it is in fact the door chime. While the car is park open the door and listen for wher it is coming from under the dash and follow the sound to the chime. It will look like a 1x1 black square almost like a relay. Simpley unplug it. Dont worry it doesnt cotrol anything else so it wont hurt to unplug it. Good Luck!!

I have a Chevy and mine has a little button on the inside the door jam. I acciendtly broke mine recently and then the beeping stopped- you can try removing the button if you have one? but if it is still beeping even when the doors are shut it sounds like maybe some sort of short?

unplug the GEM or fix the bad door switch. pull the kick panel off one side and distonnect the large wire harness and see if the chime goes off. if it don't then go the the other door and do the same. I just fixed an 02 ranger and the wire to the right hand door was shorted behind the glove box. usually its one of the door switchs thou.

Well either you switch in jamb is bad or its a bad seat belt sensor. I just unplug anyway as I like to clean my truck and listen to radio.

Mine would go off all sudden going down road . I had to put new switch in.
