The mountains tend to be quite small compared to The Rockies as these mountains are older and well rounded out because of erosion.

An unnamed peak about 10km west of D'Iberville tops out at 1,470 meters (4,824 feet). It straddles the Quebec-Labrador border.

Mt Jacques-Cartier (1,268 mtrs) in the Chic-Choc range is Quebec's #2 named peak.
