Yes it does. The air blowing across the coils faster causes it to heat up faster. This is turn turns the compressor back on more often.

the pressures will be higher at a higher fan speed due to the fact that you will be moving more hot air across the evaporator and thus removing more heat, which increases pressure and puts more strain on the compressor.
the most efficient way to use your a/c is, when you first get into your car if it is very hot in your car, roll a window or windows down slightly and put your a/c settings to normal or fresh air and the blower to high. this will pull the usually cooler outside air into the vehicle and force the hotter air out the windows. when the temp begins to go down inside, close the windows and move the a/c controls to max or recirculate and the cooler air inside the car will then recirculate through the evaporator getting cooler with each pass. the least stress on the system and best cooling will come with the settings in max or recirc and the blower set to med or low. this is due to lower operating pressures because of lower heat loads.

The blower motor works harder but not the compressor. The compressor runs thru the same cycle whether it's on low or high. The only way to increase the efficiency is to recirculate the air in your vehicle. But even then the compressor works no harder. Hope this helps :)

Fan speed doesn't change how the compressor operates, it just controls air flow. Turning the temperature control to lower temperatures makes the compressor cycle on and off.

it will work harder the faster the fan blows. if it worked the same no matter the fan speed, then the tempurature would go up if you had the fan at a higher speed.

to be honest they work easier so to speak. mainly because the system works better because of the transfer of cold and heat..........not going into a detailed 3 hr presentation but trust me on this one......but the compressor doesnt work anymore or less because of the blower motor speed
