1] make sure you use the right shades - perhaps charcoal gray or coffee brown or deep purple would suit better.
2] grab a tissue! Blot the inner corners of your eyes [ like when someone is crying in a soap opera ] so eyes don't tear while you're doing them.
3] brush translucent powder all around eyes before you start,
so color will set.
4] try shadow first, and then eyeliner; or vice versa - whichever works better for you

you do no longer ought to apply a primer in the previous using eyeliner. The elf primer might easily be a great purchase and besides the shown fact that I relatively have by no ability used it, elf in many circumstances has great low-fee, products. A primer that i admire and advise is from Victoria's secret, it relatively is in between drugstore / extreme end makeup!!

Well sometimes proffesionals a specific brush to do that kind of make-up, but a regular eyeshadow brush would probally work (Use black eyeshadow) But for proffesional answers go to a makeup counter. Mac Barbie would probally work, because they do dark make-up like that. (the counter is at a local mall in Dillards)

It is really easy. Just put it under your eye VERY close, then make sure not to glob it on.
