Wine her, dine her, and 69 her...LMAO!!!
(Im so bad today...)
What you have planned is great.Id get some balloons that say I love you.....Whats her favorite color? Id get a few of the balloons that say I love you then just plain ol balloons and have them blown up to...so it looks like a huge bouquet type of balloons. Then maybe take her to dinner at her place of choice. It'll be great cause she'll be with you :) Have fun!!

Just sell all of your furnature now and leave her a stack of money to buy new. I had my house fully furnished and decorated with high quality stuff. Most of it is gone (given away to her friends and family who have no idea of the value) and replaced with particle board junk.
I can't explain it well because men and women think so differently from one another. Furnature they choose makes them feel like it is their home, even if they are replacing a solid oak hand-carved antique worth $4500 with an ugly chunk of particle board from wall mart worth $25. If you had it before you got married, she will never feel like it is hers.
Better yet, hide the good stuff in a storage facility and give it to her one piece at a time as gifts.

You can cook her dinner. or buy some food to eat if you can't cook. Make it a candle light dinner. I'm sure she will appreciate that :)
I am happily married too! newlyweds like you two & my husband does so many romantic things to surprise me.
CONGRATS to both of you!

Wow, I'm envious!! : )
What a wonderful welcome. You might try:
* Stringing a "Welcome" banner up.
* Plan to have a dinner brought in so you two won't have to think about cooking your first evening there.
* Have the bed turned down with a flower on the pillow (unless she's allergic, of course!)

As soon as you open the door and are in the house, just look deep into her eyes give her an encompassing hug and then kiss her. Tell her you are finally home. Holla.

its going to be hard for her to be comfortable in a home that is not hers.
Make her feel like its home. Is she bringing something? Let her decorate something personalize all her own.
Buy something she loves and like a bear or picture, certain flowers.
Take her shopping for new stuff. Let her pick them out. New towels, sheets, dishes. Something.

Make sure she knows she is free to throw out all your old, ratty furniture and relplace it with nice things :) Also let her know that she can throw out all your ratty t shirts and underwear and replace them with new things of her choosing.
lol, just kidding. She knew that when she married you.
I would make sure any old flame memoribilia has been thrown out.
