Snakes don't have feet.

If your "snake" actually has feet, you may want to save him. I've never seen any snakes with feet so it may be something that you want to send in to Ripley's believe it or not!

Under normal circumstances, however, the cost of surgery won't be too much. I've seen a lot of animal injuries working as a vet-tech and putting any animal down for something so minuscule like a broken foot is pointless and wasteful.

Aren't you lucky that I'm answering this question. Snakes (and reptiles in general) never stop growing. This is a fact. What you need to do is chop off its broken foot altogether. You cant repair a broken foot, only someone with enough experience and charm like Dr. Sweetz can. When the foot is gone, the snake will immediately start growing a new one. Problem solved.

Snakes have scales not feet ! By the way, even if one scales is injuired then the snake can manage without surgery. You need to be more specific before asking the question. Or its just a time pass.

Contact Ripley's and see if they'll help with the cost. If they won't, and the major museums turn you down, too, then have the poor guy put to sleep. Nothing worse than a lame snake....

Did he break his foot kicking you for stepping on his tail?

im no expert on snakes, but im pretty sure they dont have feet!

but if there is something wrong with it, and you can afford the surgery, and if you love the snake, then id do the surgery

but if its really serious, and the snake would be very uncomfortable, then id put it down

i didn't know snakes had feet but either way
1) if you love him and it will heal the foot all the way and make him feel better then do the surgery
2) if he is going to live in pain and suffering the rest of his life then you should have him put down

Now hold on there pardner! You may not be aware of this but, snakes have the ability to grow them there feet right back after they been chopped off . Now aside from fried kittens, baked snake feet is one of the tastiest meals I has ever had! Jus' git yourself one of dem dare Ginsu knives (cause that snake skin can be tough), and cut them suckers off! Bon Appetit!

First of all, pay for the surgery.

Secondly, go to a mental hospital.=]

Snakes don't have feet, if it has more then 0 feet then its for sure not a snake.

All right, let's think about this.

Are you sure it's a snake.
How many feet does it have?
If it has more than zero, it may not be a snake.

Okay, I could be wrong so let's just assume for the moment that it is a snake.
Whem a race horse breaks it's leg, it will generally never race again.
I'm afraid the same is true for your snake.
Its championship racing days are over.

I think its time you put it down.
Sorry dear chap, I truely feel for your loss.
