These 2 receivers could someday equal to Boldin/ Filtzgerald or even Harrison/ Wayne combos. However, with Kevin Jones being extremely injury prone, and having Tatum Bell (Who was probably going to get released last year by the broncos anyway), I don't think that both of them combined will reach over 2000 yards.
In Addition, that O Line is probably just as bad as Oakland, and the failure to pick up a Linemen in the 1st and 2nd rounds will cost the Lions some time in the pocket. Somewhere in his head, Matt Millen believed that George foster is the salvation of the Lions, and passed on Joe Thomas.
Finally, we must all admit that Kitna is an average QB at best, and with that battered O Line, Kitna will be sacked many times. He is aging, and at the end of the year he could be contemplating retiring.
So my answer is that Roy Williams will NOT make the pro bowl, and neither will Calvin. Stats are..
Calvin Johnson 65 receptions, 850 yds 8 TD
Roy Williams 75 receptions, 1040 yds 10 TD

Kitna is not that bad. He completed over 62% of his passes last season for over 4,200 yards (4th in league) and 21 TDs (9th in league), and only one other time in his career did he throw 22 INTs. Kitna was also sacked 63 times, second worst only to the Raiders, so how many of those INTs were the result of QB pressures & getting hit too often?
How will Williams and Johnson do? Williams and Mike Furrey got 82 and 98 receptions respectively, for 1310 and 1086 yards & 7 and 6 TDs. If the revamped offensive line can keep Kitna upright, there's no reason not to expect Williams and Johnson each to get 70+ catches and 1000+ yards each, along with 6-10 TDs each. Such predictions become even more viable if Kevin Jones is healthy & can provide a good running game.

I think those stats are a pretty accurate prediction on your part. Kitna is better than a lot of people give him credit for. He did throw for over 4,000 yards last year. Roy Williams is already a gamer, and Calvin Johnson will have a fantastic rookie year. If for some reason Kitna doesn't come through this year, you always have Drew Stanton waiting in the wings...

r williams will have a year similar to last year (when furry did have more catches than he did by the way), at about 80+ catches for 1200 yds and 8 tds. The c johnson numbers are too high for a rookie, evan one as good as he is, he doesn't have cunningham at the helm, he has kitna. i would expect more like 65 catches for 800 yds and 6 scores. they deffinately won't both get 10+ tds, and probably neither will. martz's offense tends to spread the ball around and get the rb's heavily involved in the pass game, even holt and bruce didn't get double digit tds in any 1 year together under him with much better qb's and pure talent all over the offense.

Roy Willams won't do very well, not because he's a bad Receiver but with the addition of Johnson limits his catches, plus he finished the season second in catches last season. He's still a big time receiver but won't have the numbers he should. I say 65 catches for Roy and 70 for Calvin.

Calvin Johnson is the main decrease than rated fantasy participant to me. he would be the key objective of the lions at 6-6, and has loads of expertise. I recommend, as a QB, how are you able to stand up to a 6-6 guy waiting for you interior the endzone. i think of they gets a good volume of things, yet considering the fact that calvin is 6-6, he would be the bypass-to-guy interior the pink zone. i admire calvin in this one. Oh, and you're welcome for the different answer, i recommend what are followers and contacts for. and thank you plenty for balloting me best answer, 3 individuals additionally did, so i'm a point 2. i'm happy i'd desire to help and that i wish this answer does too.

Lets face it. The Detroit Lions do not have an adequate quarterback! Roy and Calvin won't do much this year because Jon Kitna will turn the ball over half of the time he decides to put the ball in the air, and Tatum Bell and Kevin Jones will do most of the work.

Your stats for Williams seem obtainable but for Johnson you have him doing to good, maybe 50 catches, 800 yards, 6 TDs.

i predict 800 yards ish or so each, but with Mike Martz on the helm, the number could get high. Remember Johsnon is a rookie and he may show signs off that in the season. Just because he was picked so early, doesn't guarantee success as the Lions found with Rogers.
