Lets see here....
A-Rod has won AL MVP's on two different teams
He was baseball's second 40/40 man.
He has also been the most consistent 30+ hr / 110+ rbi player over the last decade.

Hope this helps.

How can you compare a 4th year player to a 13th year player who is a monster. Makes no difference which team you like or what you think about A-Rod as a person, He is miles ahead of Wright at this point in each of their careers. Now, if your questions would have been, "Do you think Wright will someday put up the same kind of numbers as A-Rod" my answer would still be no. Career for Wright: HR'S 75, RBI 286, AVG 301 SLG 519. Career for A-Rod HR'S 483, RBI 1,392, AVG 305, SLG 575. The numbers speak for themselves. For Wright just to equal where A-Rod is now he would have to average 45 homeruns and 123 RBI each year for the next nine years. I don't see those kinds of numbers coming from Wright.

AROD he is a mvp caliber player yea david wright is good but there are a handful of more powerful 3rd basemans, just go to mlb.com and look at who is winning in most of the major statistics.

Ooooh that's tough one. I'm a Yankee fan, and I love A-Rod lots! A-Rod has the better numbers. (Homeruns, RBI's, 2B...) Whilst David Wright is a better fielder and a bit more consistent. I mean, come on. The bare-handed catch. That was crazy. A-Rod is a good fielder too, but Wright is a bit more...Erm...I don't know quite the word...But he has something A-Rod doesn't. I like that about Wright. I love A-Rod with all my heart. So, being the pompous, stubborn Yankee fan that I am, Ima have to go with him. He has better seasonal numbers. If Wright reaches the standards A-Rod set, then by all means, rub it in my face. But I am forever a Yankee fan. And so I support him.

Yankees Love. <3

Either A-Rod or Wright depending on what NY team you root for.

I'm a Yankee fan but I gotta go along with Wright because at third I'm more than willing to give up some" O "to get some "D ".

David Wright, not only is he more consistent, handles the pressure better but a hell of a lot cheaper. And don't forget YOUNG his prime is yet to come.
