Since yesterday everytime I drive with the windows rolled down, I hear this hissing sound. The hissing disappears entirely when the windows are fully rolled up. Is there any way to determine what the problem is and fix it without an expensive mechanic?

LOL is the problem a hissing noise or the windows......the hissing noise is probably from under the hood, this is why you hear it with the windows down........now if the windows are slowly falling off of there track.......unless you feel like fixing it yourself pay a trustworthy mechanic. while there fixing that it wouldnt hurt to have them poke the head under the hood and see if they can hear the " hissssss" :)
