A hamster is a good pet. It needs food and water, toys, and a clean cage.

They are fun to play with and can teach a child the responsibility that comes with taking care of a pet.

One great tip is to buy a paper shredder and make the litter for the bottom of the cage yourself. You can use newspaper and junk mail, paper bags and other scrap paper, but not anything with colored inks, plastic windows, glossy paper or colored paper.

Try to change the paper every 1-3 days as it gets soaked with hamster pee and will stink!

The most expensive part of the hamster project will be the cage, but I bet you can find one at a garage sale or swap meet.

The canines has a severe prey force and desires to kill the hamster. Dachshunds have been bred for one thousand years to seek and kill small animals that look very very like hamsters. you do no longer practice the prey force away in some days or even weeks. i could get the hamster a brilliant Habitrail cage and save them separated. Or danger having your hamster finally end up as lunch.

Hamsters are fun to have. They are very exciting nocturnal creatures. Thye wll keep you entertain for hours. If you get one or two make sure you cahnge their cage weekly otherwise they might get wet-tail and die. Dwarf Hamsters are small and very estatic.
