he graduates with honors and a 2 year degree from our local community college in drafting!

Congratulations to him on his 12 years perfect attendance in school, and on graduating!
What does he want but not need, that would really surprise him?
Do you also want to encourage him to do something, or do you just want to reward and recognize him?
It does depend on how much you want to spend, too.
A sporty new car?
A powerful new computer?
A top-notch, do-everything cell phone?
A couple classical Great Books?
You know him best ...

Okay first every child has heard of the human centipede so many say that they've watched it when they got freaked by the trailer. It's not suitable for a child of 10 it's an 18 for a reason. And it may affect your child's mental health state and development more than you may think. I wouldn't recommend anyone watch it let alone a 10 year old

wow, 2000$?! Even when I got my Bachelors I didn't get such extravagant gifts! Wanna be my parent? : ))
Anyhoo, I usually have people that I plan to give gifts make out a wish list and I choose from there. That way, they're not ever disappointed.

Wow, that is seriously an AMAZING accomplishment! I would say he deserves a car definately but since those are pricey, I would go with a Nintendo Wii or some other thing that he would be really into.

My sister and brother in-law brought my neice a lap-top for the perfect attendance for 12 yrs and honors awards that she won----That or anything he has been really wanting.

What about a letter stating how proud you are of him. 12 years of perfect attendance is next to impossible.
