GOP Princess: Then you have only ever dated married men, right? Because single men can't show commitment or stability?

Just curious.

"Dating" does not require a commitment. I didn't say "engaged to" multiple women, I said "dating."

yes I would if he believed in the things I believe in and would do what is best for the country

some people don't get married and are content to serial date. there are also people who can't find someone to marry or be with long-term in a monogamous way.

its not an issue of respect. I know men who respect women and still serial date. I know one guy who thinks he's just too young to settle down- he's 40, he'll think about settling down at 60. he doesn't disrespect the women he dates, they know he loves kids in small frames of interaction, like when he takes his niece for a weekend. he doesn't have an issue with monogamy but doesn't like the idea of living with someone.
not marrying and dating doesn't mean you have a disrespect for the gender you are dating.

it might be better to have a single president who dates women and starts new relationships after the last one ends, than to have a fake marriage where he marrys a girl due to social pressure. he then might cheat or just be unhappy.
we don't want a depressed president.

I'm liberal, I vote for the best candidate. no party affiliation

It would be a strike against him.

I don't have a problem with single and dating one person. However, dating multiple women (are you saying simultaneously) just opens you up to unnecessary character attacks. It may be right or wrong, but now you are dealing with these issues and not dealing with the things you should be dealing with.

And leave GOP Princess alone!

Party: registered Republican, but an independent thinker.

If they seemed like they would make a good President I wouldn't care what they did,he can date multiple men for all I care. This has been one major flaw in the "Conservative" movement is this obsession with peoples personal habits. What should be important is what they will try to do to make our situation as a country better, nothing more.

What does that have to do with a candidate? Nothing. I would vote for the person I feel is best qualified. Besides, Clinton was dating multiple women, and people loved him. (Maybe that's why?)
I am registered as a Republican because if you don't register as a Republican or a Democrat you can not vote in the primaries.

GOP princess did you just call Thomas Jefferson unstable? Our most intelligent President hands down and the one without whom there would be no Declaration of Independence?

OK there sweetie. What about Nixon you know that paranoid one who tried to over throw the constitution?

In theory, as long as his philandering ways do not interfere with the official duties of the oval office, then I'd have no problem with it. In practice, it would not work out.

Simultaneously - or in a series of monogamous relationships handled with sobriety and seriousness?

My faith has more to do with my response question that my political party.

If he's out for "tail" his attention is too fleeting to regard as trustworthy in a position of authority. We have too many MARRIED "playa's" in government already. Without the ability to be faithful in their marriages - I have no trust in their ability to be faithful to their duties.

If he's genuinely going from one relationship to another - one at a time - then I would see someone that was handling his singleness respectfully. Someone who seeks a balanced life with enough character to devote himself or herself to one relationship at a time - would be someone who would have sober judgment, and would be careful and considerate of his or her position and the responsibilities they hold.

Peace.
