I have an old IBM laptop that has 128mb and it does not have a cd drive to copy info to. I have a program on that laptop that was created on there. I tried to send the program via email, it states it does not know what program created it. How can I transfer it to my new Dell desktop computer?

Do NOT use those EZ transfer cables. use a crssover cable plugged into both computers, use a hub, email the data to yourself, use a jumpdrive, etc. You dont want to send a PROGRAM via email, you install hose off CD. Dont get lazy, do it the right way and you'll have much less frustration.

you can network the computers together. then set shared drives and copy the files. it is the best simplest way but may take some time if you got a lot of data(5GB+)
