I stupidly wore a very lovely Pucci swimming costume on the beach and then got shore dumped by a very big wave. Funny at the time, but now I'm left with a gorgeous swim suit that has sand granuals imbedded in the fabric. It's not so bad on the coloured patches but on the white bits it looks like the costume has fleas! I've tried hand washing it and rubbing at the sand whilst its dry but any tips would be wonderful. Thank you

Is it out of the question to put it in the wash on a gentle cycle? I am not familiar with what material it is made out of, but I'm thinking it's worth a shot if you feel it is ruined? I've never seen a bathing suit that a washer cannot clean! ;) Good luck!

Its horrible, I think the sand has bruised the material, it happened to mine and it did not come out, I tried every thing but nothing worked.Sorry.
