So theres this dumb theory i hear about where Left handed people are prone to get into car accidents, die early, and are usually ignorant && what not. I mean, is that true?

I'm not a lefty and i've never heard of those things. The only thing I've heard is that lefties are supposed to be more creative because they think more with the right side of the brain which is said to be associated with creativity. My dad and my brother are lefties and my brothers only been in one accident where he sideswiped another vehicle. Hes not ignorant either. He just graduated with his Bachelors in speech pathology and landed an $18 an hour job and is going for his Masters in August. I dont know if they die earlier but my dads gonna be 48 in August and hes still kickin.

Darlin', I don't know where you get your information, because I've been a "lefty" for 53 years. Any car accidents that involved me were caused by other people, I am in no way ignorant in any sense of the word, and I don't plan on going anywhere any time soon...although that last one isn't entirely up to me! I'm proud to be a "lefty", I feel we have very unusual, playful personalities; an unusual gift of insight on a variety of subjects and don't "mince" words with anyone about anything...hope that clears things up for you! Not true. My aunt is left handed, is 81 years old, never been in a car accident and is quite intelligent. My cousin is also a lefty and she has the best handwriting of anyone I have ever known.

Not true, I'm a lefty..........I've had 1 accident, haven't died, not ignorant (well don't think so). I actually know alot of people who say that lefty's are very creative, very artistic......... I'm a Jewelry Designer and love to sing, I draw well too, and love to dress creatively........so you decide?

There is some truth to the accidents part. Not so much with cars, but other types of machinery. So many things are built for righties and have to be used either backward or with the wrong hand by lefties.
That makes many things more dangerous for us, thus more accidents.

My father is left handed. He is 60. Could have got a few minor bike accidents till now. He was smart and very talented in music, sports, writing..
Now who said left handed people are second to right handed people?

Yes, I am left handed; however, I hope that I am not prone to have negative things happen to me. I hope that I am not ignorant, and I respect other people's viewpoints

I am and I'm no way ignorant, but I was in a car accident when I was a baby, luckily no harm was done though.
