For the last few years, I've had my own. It's a lot of work to keep up with, but worth it.

Some of you may say you don't have enough yard area to have a garden, but you can always create your own little one in planter boxes or along the side or your house/apartment. Just a few tomato plants can go a long way!

Between my son & I we have gone halfs on a garden & it is at his house which is across the street from me. Nothing better than home-grown veggies!!! This year we put in corn, tomatoes, green & hot peppers, onions, cucumbers, lettuce, watermelon & cantelopes!!!

I'm lucky, the house we bought several years ago has four raised beds 32 feet by 6 feet. But I have rabbit problems so I have to chicken wire the whole thing! I've only been using two of them so far.

Yes, in raised beds. I live in a steeply sloped area with very shallow soil over bedrock--the first time I planted carrots they grew with practically a right angle in them!

I have a medium sized backyard.I have planted 24 tomato plants,several squash,peppers and every herb you ban think of.The squash plants are enormous! They are fun to watch.

Pots are great for many vegetables, but I am now on a farm so I am going to grow melons and pumpkins for the farmer's market.

Yes, we do. We like squash, zucchini, carrots, corn, broccoli, potatoes, green beans, tomatos, onions, and other stuff. It is better than going to the store to get them.

I wish I did but they won't even let me put out a bird feeder here. The apartment complex is too strict !!!

yeah i luv the idea of starting with nothing just some dirt and a tiny seed and then watching it grow into what you wanted.
