Right-click on "My Computer", select "Properties", and when the Properties dialog displays, select "System Restore".

You have to be running Windows XP or Vista to have System Restore....

From the Start menu, go to the Accessories (may need to click All Programs to see it)
Look under System Tools and you will find System Restore
You control the System Restores from there.

press start,go into my computer.go into change settings,then performance and maintanance,you should see system restore in upper left hand corner,click onto this then click onto the dot where it says restore my computer to an earlier time(1 or 2 weeks) then click next.pc will close down for a few mins to restore then come on again,hope all will be well for you,I have done it a few times and it works,good luck

Right-click on the "My Computer" icon, choose Properties. then from the ensuing window called "System Properties", go the the "System Restore" tab. here, you just enable System restore.

right click on my computer and select ptoperties. you will find system restore tab, usually it is set to on, you can deactivate if you like
