Because pets rarely reject any affection you give them.

Because a pet 's love is unconditional and no language is necessary to convey it and rejection is far less likely or not to occur at all but for a person that is a pretty big meatball hanging out there not knowing if feelings are mutually felt by the other person or not.

Saying I LOVE YOU to a pet is so much easier in that you know they are worthy of said affection, and return it 100 fold. It fulfills our inate need to love...especially when we are single(having never been married)or adjusting to a divorce(and learning to live alone). We never have to fear that they question our sincerity, or will reject us. In this regard...you are not the only one who thinks this way.

Well pets don’t understand the phrase “I Love You” and we humans know that. We know there is nothing they will say back to us that will upset us. Humans on the other hand do understand the meaning of “I Love You”. The only problem is, if they don’t feel the same they won’t say anything in return, which, in the end could upset us. So in all, we may not feel as comfortable expressing those words to them, for the sake of our dignity.

it is easier because there is a difference between love for a pet or love for a person. You may love a person, get married to them, and have s'e'x with them, but i dnt think you will do the same with your pet....its just not natural.

because the pet shows a lot of affection to you.
are more loving.
and don't let you down as much.

plus you're pet won't laugh in your face or say that they don't love you back.

besides the fact a person can say "i love you too"

pets are nicer.

but.
you can't get a good relationship out of pets.
a public one anyway.
imagine the looks you'd get(:

xx

Pets take the love for granted anyway. Never get upset with someone's affection.

It is easy to say it to others. Maybe you are just afraid of the response you will get, animals don't talk back and they can't say how they feel. But you can say it to other humans. You just have to mean it and know that they love you in return.

Because pets give you the same affection that you give them. If you love them , they always love you back.
