Soriano is going through what Juan Pierre went through last year, it takes a while to hit your stride in Wrigleyville...

Just before the AllStar break and after that, his stats will be a totally different story.. Pierre did the same thing and ended up statiscally where he always does (40+ SB, 290 BA mid 300's OBP) I am a Cubs fan and have seen lots of new guys go through this same slump (Derek Lee his first season also)
Be patient... Soriano will make it worth the wait, and then PRAY you get him again next season....

he use to be

latly with all the position changes and talk of him getting overpaid in chigago hes breaking down

i dont think he can handle the pressure
he use to be a 40 40 guy but obviously that wont happen this year

he needs to adjust to chicago and start to play some baseball

i wonder what would happen to him if he stayed at a position or went back to second like when he played for the yanks

I dropped him a few weeks ago and picked up Dej. from the kansas city royals. He is producing runs and hits. Soriano is the most over rated this year.

Five tool player and one of just a few with 40-40 potential. Every player goes through a series of ups and downs throughout a season, don't even think of drooping him.

Yes. You can't drop a 40/40 all star caliber player. He will have hot streaks at some point and when he does his stats will come in handy.

Place him on the bench but keep a eye on his daily production.

Who cares?!

Chicago, New York, Florida, California all have at least TWO MLB teams, and they still can't get the job done in the playoffs.

Detroit will take them down any day.

OH yes keep sorry-oh-no! he's a proven commodity and over a full season his numbers will be good. in fact, don't trade him on the cheap either. if you shop him, get a premo in return or don't do it.

It's too early to drop him and if you were to drop him someone would pick him up!!! If you don't want him trade him, you will get more value that way, compared to somebody off of waivers.

of course you keep him. you never drop him, because he can turn it around. if you really dont want him, trade him away and get something good in return, not some waiver wire material player.
