This is the type of question which results when someone is ignorant of military history.
The US military in Iraq enjoys a 200:1 kill ratio. This is nothing short of fantastic. A great improvement when compared to the 1991 Gulf War when it was 50:1 or Vietnam when it was 30:1.
Only a never-served, know-nothing civilian retard could ask a question as ignorant as this.

For centuries the best military have lost members of their troops. We even lose them in training that has nothing to do with them not being the best. Look up how many we lost in just the training for D-Day. You can never go with no battle loses no matter how well prepared as with any protection position as we have here with our police and fire, they are some of the best in the world and we lose one every day in the performance of their duties.

I don't know how it is at the moment. But in the past idiot Bush sent to many soldiers over too fast and the "armor" on the hum vees was plywood. They were using cell phones and walkies that were mailed by family to communicate.
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do when someone puts a bomb in the road or commits suicide to kill you.

It is not as easy as you say it is. The enemy is not exactly in uniform and can be anyone at anytime. It is hard for even the most well trained to figure out who is a friendly and who is a hostile. It is guerrilla war and is always tough to fight even for our forces who are the best in the world

EXCUSE ME? That is incredibly offensive. My nephew served two tours in Iraq and lost friends. I work with a veterans service non profit association called TAPS (tragedy assistance program for survivors - www.taps.org) that deals with people who lose a loved one in active duty.
Those brave troops sacrifice their lives so you can have the right to post hateful repulsive things like that about them. You should be ashamed.

The better question would be what's wrong with you,
but of course everyone already knows.

moving them away from where things are exploding might work. Maybe re-deploying them to somewhere in North America would be a good idea.

Their feeling that they are superior and arrogant has made wide sectors of Iraqis resist their illegal presence in that country.
