Well, when we are alive our heart beats and when we die it does not. Perhaps THAT is the physical manifestation of the soul.

Why do you believe there even IS a physical manifestation of the soul?

No, the electrical activity is the RESULT of nerve-cell interactions. The electricity itself does not cause life.

Kind of like a rooster crows doesn't cause the sunrise.

Its pretty safe to say, to clearify what you are asking, is that the electrical activity is a solid indicator of life.

An indicator or a result, depending on if you are looking at the organ, or are looking at the cells.

Our entire body conducts electricity, actually. I doubt it has anything to do with the soul, though. Just our all of our parts stimulate eachother.

It is a concept put forth by religion.
